I'm Moving

After 5 amazing years in 2nd grade I am being moved. It is bittersweet.  I absolutely love 2nd grade and I would be happy teaching it forever, but sometimes it is good to try new things.  My principal still hasn't told me if I am moving to 4th or 5th yet, but hopefully I hear something soon.

Any suggestions or words of wisdom for upper grades will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!!!!

    I have taught 5th grade for 15 years and there is no place I would rather be.. I have also taught 4th and 6th .. 5th is where it's at!!! Congratulations on your big move.. you will be great!! They are the same kids, just with a bit more sense of humor!! Ask if ya need anything!!

    My principal just emailed all of us and said she is moving our staff around too. The worst part is that I got my room ready for August and now may have to tear all apart. I totally get it.

      That totally stinks! I am dreading moving all my stuff because I packed like I was staying since she didn't tell me until after post planning was out. Any idea what grade level you will be moving to?
